Many times we go ‘wow’ , when we watch a well choreographed dance performance either in a music video or on stage. And we often wonder: ‘how did they dance so uniquely and uniformly?’ Well, that’s the work of the choreographer. The choreographer is one who creates and arranges dances and teaches dancers to perform a dance to the delight of an audience. He decides what the moves and steps will be and the dancers perform the steps. He or she also takes the ideas and opinions of the dancers, and blends them together to make a beautiful performance. Firstly, the choreographer directs rehearsals to teach dancers how to dance. These rehearsals are often intense and time consuming if dancers are going to master the steps to be able to present them uniformly.
